Can You Get SHEIN Gift Cards at a Discount in the US in 2026?
Yes. At the time of writing, SHEIN's own US gift card page sells $200 to $500 e-gift cards for 5% less than face value, for example $475 for a $500 card. Here is how the cards work, their limits, and how to compare that saving with going through ShopBack US.
Updated: October 2026.
Yes, US shoppers can get SHEIN gift cards at a discount, and the simplest place is SHEIN itself. At the time of writing, SHEIN's US gift card page sells its $200, $300, $400 and $500 e-gift cards for 5% less than face value, so a $500 card costs $475. Smaller cards ($25, $50, $80 and $100) sell at face value. The cards only work on items sold by SHEIN, not marketplace sellers.
New to ShopBack? ShopBack US is a cashback platform: you start from ShopBack, shop at the store as normal, and part of what you paid comes back to you as cash. It is free to join at shopback.com/signup, and SHEIN has its own page on ShopBack US at shopback.com/shein, where the live rate and terms sit.
Can you get SHEIN gift cards at a discount?
Yes. SHEIN's own gift card page advertises "Get up to $25 off", and the prices listed at the time of writing show how that works:
| Card value | Price on SHEIN's US gift card page | Saving |
|---|---|---|
| $25 | $25 | none |
| $50 | $50 | none |
| $80 | $80 | none |
| $100 | $100 | none |
| $200 | $190 | $10 (5%) |
| $300 | $285 | $15 (5%) |
| $400 | $380 | $20 (5%) |
| $500 | $475 | $25 (5%) |
So the discount starts at the $200 card and tops out at $25 off the $500 card. If you would spend $200 or more at SHEIN anyway, or you are buying a gift for someone who would, the larger cards are a straightforward 5% off what the card covers.
Two caveats. First, the page prices can change, so check the live page before you buy. Second, the 5% only applies to what the card actually pays for, and the card can only pay for items sold by SHEIN itself. More on that below.
Where to buy official SHEIN gift cards in the US
The official route is SHEIN's gift card page at us.shein.com/giftcard.html, or the gift card section in the SHEIN app. SHEIN calls them SHEIN E-Gift Cards, and you pick a design and value, add the recipient's name and a message of up to 250 characters, then check out.
According to SHEIN's Gift Card Terms (last updated April 27, 2026):
- Delivery: the card number and PIN are emailed to the address on file after purchase.
- Payment check: SHEIN verifies the payment first, which it estimates takes 1 to 7 business days depending on the payment method. Do not leave a birthday gift to the last minute.
- Country lock: cards bought after March 8, 2021 can only be redeemed in the country they were bought for. A US card works on the US site and US app only.
When people search "SHEIN official gift cards" or "site:shein.com gift card", these are the pages they want. Buying direct means the card comes with SHEIN's own terms and its customer support behind it.
What a SHEIN gift card can and cannot pay for
This is the detail that decides whether the 5% saving is worth it for you. According to SHEIN's terms:
- SHEIN products only. Cards can be used on products sold by SHEIN itself, and not on products from third-party sellers on SHEIN's marketplace. The gift card page labels the card "non-marketplace items only".
- No SHEIN CLUB. You cannot use a gift card to pay for SHEIN CLUB membership.
- One card per order. Only one gift card can be redeemed on an order, and cards cannot be combined. If your order costs more than the balance, you pay the rest another way.
- Sharing limits. You can bind a card to your account, which is permanent and removes the need to enter the PIN. An unbound card can be used by up to 5 different accounts.
- No cash out. The balance cannot be withdrawn as cash.
- No expiry on bought cards. Cards you buy do not expire. Free promotional cards from SHEIN can expire, usually within 1 day to 3 months.
- Refunds. Gift card purchases are generally non-refundable. If you return an order paid by gift card, that portion goes back onto the card.
If your SHEIN basket is mostly marketplace items, a gift card will not cover them, so check each product's seller before you count on the saving.
SHEIN gift card discount vs going through ShopBack
Going through ShopBack is an essential step before you check out at SHEIN, the same way it is before you book on Booking.com, Trip.com, Agoda or Expedia: you pay less on the same order. ShopBack works like an automatic cash discount on your online order. The cashback comes back as cash, so it lowers what you actually pay for the order, like a discount on the price rather than points or miles.
The catch with gift cards is that the two savings usually do not combine. At the time of writing, ShopBack's SHEIN page says gift card purchases do not earn cashback, and neither does the part of an order paid with a gift card. The part you pay by card can still qualify. So for your own shopping, the real question is which saving is bigger on your basket.
Here is a worked example with an illustrative rate. On a $200 SHEIN order at an illustrative 5%, $10 comes back, so the effective price is $190, the same as paying with a discounted $200 gift card. If the live rate on ShopBack's SHEIN page is higher than 5% for you, going through ShopBack and paying by card saves more. If it is lower, the discounted gift card saves more. ShopBack's SHEIN page lists separate rates for new and existing SHEIN customers, so check the live rate on the store's ShopBack page before you choose.
A simple rule of thumb:
- Buying a gift for someone else? The discounted gift card is the clean option, as long as the recipient shops SHEIN's own items.
- Buying for yourself? Compare the 5% gift card saving against the live rate on ShopBack's SHEIN page and use the larger one.
- First SHEIN order? Check the new-customer rate on ShopBack's SHEIN page first, since it can differ from the existing-customer rate.
How cashback sites work with SHEIN in 2026
Shoppers often search for SHEIN on several cashback sites before they buy. The way they work is broadly the same: you start from the cashback site, click through to SHEIN, shop as normal, and part of what you pay comes back once the order is confirmed. What differs is the rate, the exclusions and the tracking rules, and all three change over time.
On ShopBack US, the details sit on the SHEIN store page: the rates for new and existing SHEIN customers, the terms and exclusions, and the tips for making sure the order tracks. A few habits help:
- Start from ShopBack for every new SHEIN order, and finish the purchase in one go.
- At the time of writing, ShopBack's SHEIN page asks iPhone users on iOS 26 or later to install the SHEIN app before visiting the store so the order tracks.
- Turn off ad blockers and do not click other coupon or cashback links on the way.
- Only use codes featured on ShopBack's SHEIN page, since other codes can affect cashback according to its terms.
Can you stack SHEIN orders with credit card rewards?
Usually, yes. Your card issuer pays rewards on purchases you make with the card, and that is separate from ShopBack cashback, which comes from starting the order on ShopBack. Some issuers also run card-linked offers for SHEIN from time to time inside their apps, each with its own enrollment step and limits. Earn rates and offers vary by card, so check your card's terms and the merchant's terms before you count on both.
If you pay with a SHEIN gift card, card rewards are generally earned when you buy the gift card with your credit card, not when you later spend the balance, subject to your card's terms.
Other fashion stores to compare
Other fashion and value stores US shoppers compare on ShopBack US include Temu, Old Navy, ASOS, Macy's and Target. Each has its own sales and gift cards, so the same check applies: compare the store's own offer with the live rate on its ShopBack page.
Frequently asked questions
Can you get SHEIN gift cards at a discount?
Yes, directly from SHEIN. At the time of writing, SHEIN's US gift card page sells the $200 card for $190, the $300 card for $285, the $400 card for $380 and the $500 card for $475, which is 5% below face value. The $25, $50, $80 and $100 cards sell at face value. Prices on the page can change, so check it before you buy.
Where can you buy official SHEIN gift cards in the US?
The official place is SHEIN's own gift card page at us.shein.com/giftcard.html and the SHEIN app. SHEIN sends the e-gift card number and PIN by email after a payment check that SHEIN says takes about 1 to 7 business days, depending on the payment method.
What can you buy with a SHEIN gift card?
According to SHEIN's Gift Card Terms, gift cards can only be used on products sold by SHEIN itself, not on items from third-party marketplace sellers, and they cannot pay for SHEIN CLUB membership. A card bought on the US site can only be redeemed on the US site and app.
Do SHEIN gift cards expire?
SHEIN's terms say a gift card you buy has no expiry date. Gift cards SHEIN issues free of charge, for example as a promotion, can expire, usually within 1 day to 3 months of being issued.
Can you use more than one SHEIN gift card on an order?
No. SHEIN's terms say only one gift card can be redeemed per order. If the order costs more than the card balance, you pay the rest with another payment method.
Can you get cash back for a SHEIN gift card balance?
No. SHEIN's terms say the balance cannot be withdrawn as cash and gift card purchases are generally non-refundable. If you return an order paid with a gift card, the gift card portion goes back onto the card.
Does a SHEIN order paid with a gift card earn cashback on ShopBack?
At the time of writing, ShopBack's SHEIN page says gift card purchases and the amount paid with a gift card do not earn cashback, while the balance you pay by card can still qualify. Read the live terms on ShopBack's SHEIN page before you decide how to pay.
Which saves more on SHEIN, a discounted gift card or ShopBack?
It depends on the live rate. SHEIN's discounted cards save 5% on $200 or more of gift card value. Going through ShopBack saves whatever rate ShopBack's SHEIN page shows for your order, and that page lists separate rates for new and existing SHEIN customers. Compare the two on your basket and use the larger saving.
How do cashback sites work with SHEIN?
You start from the cashback site, click through to SHEIN, and shop as normal; part of what you pay comes back as cash once the order is confirmed. Rates and exclusions differ by site and change over time, so check the live terms on the page you use. On ShopBack US, that is the SHEIN store page.
Can you earn credit card rewards on SHEIN orders?
Usually, yes. Your card issuer pays rewards on purchases made with the card, which is separate from ShopBack cashback. Card-linked offers and earn rates vary by card, so check your card's terms and the merchant's terms.
Key takeaways

- One gift card per order, no cash withdrawal, and cards you buy do not expire.
