Giraffe Tools

Giraffe Tools is a US direct-to-consumer home-improvement and backyard tool brand best known for the Grandfalls retractable garden hose reel series. The product catalog spans retractable hose reels (Grandfalls, wall-mounted and freestanding), pressure washers (electric and gas, consumer and heavy-duty tiers), air compressors (portable, pancake and quiet-run), tire inflators, backyard watering accessories (nozzles, sprinklers, quick-connect fittings), and outdoor power tools. The Grandfalls retractable hose reel is the flagship product and the brand's category-defining SKU, competing on build quality and wall-mounted installation versus Hose Link, Eley, and Suncast reels in the US market. Activate ShopBack US on the Giraffe Tools page above before clicking through to giraffetools.com to earn cashback on the paid merchandise subtotal.

The Grandfalls retractable hose reel series is the flagship product line, available in 90-foot, 100-foot, 130-foot and 150-foot hose length options with wall-mounted installation and swivel-base rotation (typical 180-degree rotation to clear backyard obstacles). Core features: automatic retraction with a tug-release mechanism (hose stays extended until pulled briefly), slow-return mechanism to prevent hose whip, UV-resistant hose material for outdoor exposure, brass connectors and leak-resistant fittings, 7-pattern spray nozzle included on most SKUs. Installation hardware (mounting bracket, screws, wall anchors) ships in-box. Compatible with standard US 3/4-inch garden hose threading. The Grandfalls series carries a defined manufacturer warranty (typically 2 years on the reel mechanism, longer on the hose); verify current warranty terms on the specific SKU.

The Giraffe Tools pressure washer range covers electric consumer (1,800 to 2,500 PSI typical, 120V plug-in, lightweight for driveway and patio cleaning), electric mid-tier (2,500 to 3,000 PSI, deeper cleaning power for siding and decks), and gas-powered heavy-duty tiers (3,000 to 4,000 PSI, suited for commercial-grade jobs or large residential properties). Each tier ships with multiple interchangeable spray nozzles (0-degree pencil, 15, 25, 40, soap), a detergent tank for soap application, a wheeled chassis with handle, and a defined hose length (typically 20 to 25 feet). Verify PSI, GPM (gallons per minute), and hose length on the specific product page before locking a tier for your use case. For driveway and car-wash use, 1,800 to 2,500 PSI electric is typically sufficient; for siding, deck stripping, or commercial jobs, step up to 2,500-plus PSI.

The Giraffe Tools air compressor catalog covers portable and pancake compressors in the 2-gallon to 6-gallon tank range (suited for tire inflation, brad nailers, finish stapling, and inflatable toys), quiet-run oilless compressors in the 1-gallon to 2-gallon range (lower decibel for garage and household use), and larger wheeled compressors in the 10-gallon-plus range (framing nailers, pneumatic tool chains). Tire inflator catalog covers cordless battery-powered inflators (12V and 20V battery platforms, auto-stop pressure setting, LED work light, suitable for car and bike tires) plus 12V plug-in units powered from a vehicle accessory outlet. Match PSI output and tank size to the pneumatic tool spec sheet before locking a purchase. ShopBack US cashback is claimed on the paid merchandise subtotal.

Giraffe Tools products typically ship with a manufacturer warranty of 1 to 2 years on the mechanical components (motor, pump, reel mechanism, compressor), with longer coverage on specific components (brass fittings, hose material) that varies by SKU. The return window on giraffetools.com direct orders typically runs 30 days from delivery for unopened items in original packaging; opened items may qualify for exchange at the brand's discretion. Return shipping on non-defective returns is typically paid by the customer. Items damaged in transit must be reported within a short window (typically 48 to 72 hours) with photos through customer service. For warranty claims after the return window closes, contact Giraffe Tools customer service through the account dashboard with order confirmation and defect photos. Verify current warranty terms and return policy on giraffetools.com before purchase.

In the US retractable hose reel market, the three main competitive players are Giraffe Tools Grandfalls, Hoselink (Australian-origin, wall-mounted retractable with no-leak connector system), and Eley (US-made, premium stainless steel reel construction). Grandfalls typically competes on price for the length and feature set, with 90-foot to 150-foot hose options at mid-tier pricing. Hoselink typically leads on connector-system refinement (quick-connect no-leak fittings across their accessory range) and ships from Australia or US warehouse. Eley typically leads on premium construction (US-manufactured, stainless steel reel body, lifetime warranty on the reel mechanism) at the top of the price range. For a mid-tier wall-mounted retractable at competitive pricing with multiple length options, Grandfalls is the practical pick; for a premium long-life reel, Eley; for a connector-system investment that extends to a broader backyard watering kit, Hoselink. All three are typically cashback-eligible via ShopBack US where the merchant page is active.

Giraffe Tools typically runs sitewide percentage-off promotions during Black Friday week (November 27, 2026) and Cyber Monday (November 30, 2026), with headline cuts on the Grandfalls retractable hose reel series, pressure washer tiers, and bundle offers (reel plus pressure washer, pressure washer plus accessory kit). Secondary windows: Memorial Day (May 25, 2026, typically the deepest annual window on outdoor backyard tools heading into summer), Father's Day (June 21, 2026, strong on tool bundles), Independence Day (July 4, 2026), Labor Day (September 7, 2026, end-of-season markdowns on outdoor categories), and year-end clearance (December 26 through January 15, 2027). For hose reels specifically, Memorial Day typically carries the deepest annual pricing because the brand clears inventory heading into peak summer backyard-tool demand. ShopBack US cashback is claimed on the paid merchandise subtotal after any sitewide promotional pricing is applied. ShopBack US is a cashback and rewards portal, similar to Rakuten. To earn cashback on a Giraffe Tools order, sign in to ShopBack US, open the Giraffe Tools merchant page above, and click through to giraffetools.com. Complete the purchase in the same browser session without switching to third-party coupon sites, and avoid pasting unsupported voucher codes at checkout since they can break tracking. Giraffe Tools' own on-site promotional pricing applied at checkout does not break tracking when the ShopBack click-through started the session. For repeat buyers, installing the ShopBack Cashback Buddy browser extension on desktop auto-activates cashback on supported merchants without a manual click-through. The current cashback rate is shown in the rate table at the top of this page.

Yes. ShopBack US cashback on Giraffe Tools is paid on completed, retained orders, so any return filed within the standard return window voids the cashback claim on the returned portion. Partial returns from a multi-item order prorate the cashback to the retained items. Items that arrive damaged and are refunded in full follow the same voided-claim rule. Rebooking a fresh order through the ShopBack Giraffe Tools merchant page starts a separate eligible cashback claim. Confirmed cashback typically lands after the standard return window closes with no returns processed against the order.

Common exclusions on direct-to-consumer home-improvement tool merchants include gift card purchases, extended warranty add-ons billed separately, select clearance SKUs, and orders using unsupported third-party voucher codes at checkout. Check the terms panel on the ShopBack Giraffe Tools merchant page before checkout for the current exclusion list.
