Office Depot Coupons That Work Online? How to Save in 2026

For US shoppers in 2026, the Office Depot coupons that work online are the ones Office Depot and OfficeMax post on officedepot.com itself: its Top Deals and Free Gifts with Purchase pages, Rewards Offers and the weekly Bonus Rewards on the Rewards page. At the time of writing, those pages listed gift-with-purchase offers marked ONLINE ONLY with minimum spends from $75 to $500, each with its own coupon code, exclusions and expiry date. Codes expire; going through ShopBack before you pay is the saving that usually still applies.

Codes listed on third-party coupon sites can be out of date or limited to certain items. The safest route is to start from Office Depot's own offers, read the exclusions, and then decide whether the code or ShopBack is worth more on your cart.

ShopBack US is a free Cashback app and website, and Office Depot and OfficeMax is a store on ShopBack US. Before you check out, open the store through ShopBack and part of what you spend comes back as cash. Join ShopBack US free here.

Office Depot coupons that work online: what is real in 2026

The coupons that reliably work online come from Office Depot's own site, and each one tells you exactly what it covers. Here is what the official offer pages showed at the time of writing, and where each fact comes from.

What you want to know	The fact	Source
Where coupons live	Top Deals, Free Gifts with Purchase, Rewards Offers and Clearance on officedepot.com	officedepot.com
How a coupon applies	Add a qualifying item, and the coupon code is applied automatically at checkout	Office Depot coupon pages
Minimum spend	Worked out before tax, delivery fees and the value of any free item	Office Depot coupon pages
Typical limits	Some offers are one per household or business, with an expiry date	Office Depot coupon pages
Online only offers	Many gift-with-purchase offers are marked ONLINE ONLY	officedepot.com Top Deals
Weekly member offers	The Rewards page is updated every Monday with new Bonus Rewards	Office Depot Rewards page

What a typical Office Depot coupon looks like. One gift-with-purchase coupon listed at the time of writing offered a free prepaid card with a qualifying purchase over a set amount. The terms excluded gift and prepaid cards, several big tech brands, ink and toner, postage stamps and other free gifts, limited the offer to one per household or business, and gave an expiry date at the end of the month. That pattern (minimum spend, brand and category exclusions, one per customer, short expiry) is common, so read the small print before you build your cart around a code.

Office Depot coupons: where to find official ones

Office Depot publishes its offers in a handful of places on officedepot.com.

• Deals and Top Deals. Category deals, from paper and ink to furniture and electronics.
• Free Gifts with Purchase. Offers that add a free item or gift card when you reach a minimum spend. At the time of writing, many were marked ONLINE ONLY and were not valid in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands.
• Rewards Offers. Bonus Rewards for Office Depot OfficeMax Rewards members, refreshed every Monday according to Office Depot.
• Clearance. Reduced items, which Office Depot notes are not eligible for price matching.
• Email sign-up. Office Depot invites shoppers to sign up to receive exclusive offers.

Office Depot and OfficeMax now share one combined website, so the same offers and Rewards apply whichever brand name you know.

Other US office supply sellers include Staples, Walmart and Target. If you compare prices across them, compare the same item number and add delivery before deciding.

Office Depot coupons 2026: how codes work at checkout

Most Office Depot coupons in 2026 apply automatically once your cart qualifies. On Office Depot's coupon pages at the time of writing, the steps were:

1. Open the coupon on officedepot.com.
2. Add a qualifying item to your cart. The coupon code is applied automatically.
3. Check out. The discount or free item shows during checkout.

Things that commonly stop a code from working:

• The minimum spend is not met. Office Depot works out the minimum before tax and delivery fees, and does not count the value of a free item.
• Excluded items in the cart. Ink and toner, gift cards, postage and certain brands are often excluded.
• The offer has expired or was limited to one per household or business.
• The offer is store only. Some offers, such as certain teacher and military coupons, are valid in store only and need to be shown to the cashier.

Office Depot and OfficeMax promo codes, discount codes and vouchers in the US

There is no single always-on Office Depot promo code; codes are tied to specific offers and dates. In 2026 the useful ways to pay less at Office Depot and OfficeMax online are:

Way to save	How it works	Who it suits
Official coupon codes	Tied to an offer page, with a minimum spend and exclusions	Shoppers with a qualifying cart before the expiry date
Free Gifts with Purchase	A free item or gift card above a set spend, often online only	Bigger orders of supplies or furniture
Rewards	Free to join; 2% back in rewards on almost every item, according to Office Depot	Anyone who buys more than once
Bonus Rewards	Weekly member offers on set products	Shoppers buying what is on promotion that week
Teacher and military offers	25% back in Bonus Rewards on qualifying online purchases for verified members, limit $100 per week	Verified educators and service members
ShopBack	Cashback on eligible online orders you start from the ShopBack page	Every online order

Gift cards and vouchers from coupon sites are a different matter. The ShopBack page for Office Depot and OfficeMax says purchases made with vouchers or promo codes not featured on ShopBack are not eligible, so a random code from another site can cost you more than it saves.

Office Depot and OfficeMax official promotions, offers and terms

Office Depot's own programs often save more than a one-off code. According to Office Depot at the time of writing:

Office Depot OfficeMax Rewards.

• Free to join, online or in store.
• Members earn 2% back in rewards on almost every item, in store and online. Office Depot excludes marketplace items, delivery fees, postage stamps, gift or prepaid cards, lottery and some services.
• Members get $2 back in rewards for approved product reviews (up to 3 a month) and recycling rewards for ink and toner cartridges.
• Reward certificates last at least 60 days, and members get a monthly statement email.

VIP Rewards. Members who spend $500 or more within 365 days become VIP members, effective 30 days after the spend posts. VIP members get 5% back in rewards on ink and toner, case, ream and photo paper and in-store copy and print, plus free 2-business-day delivery with no minimum on qualifying orders in local delivery areas within the contiguous 48 states.

Delivery. At the time of writing, officedepot.com advertised free delivery on qualifying $50 orders. Office Depot says non-qualifying orders pay a delivery charge with a minimum of $9.95, and that most furniture, oversized items and special orders do not qualify for free delivery.

Store pickup. Office Depot offers free in-store and curbside pickup. It says eligible orders are ready in 10 minutes, or you get a $10 coupon off your next qualifying purchase, and orders must be placed at least 1 hour before closing.

Price match. Office Depot says it will match a lower price on a new, identical, in stock item from a qualifying competitor, at the time of purchase or within 14 days after. Online, you call Customer Care or start a chat. It does not match holiday sale offers including Black Friday and Cyber Monday, marketplace items, ad errors, clearance, gift card offers or Office Depot online-only or in-store only specials.

How ShopBack lowers what you pay at Office Depot

Going through ShopBack gets you a cash rebate on the same order, at the same store. Open the ShopBack Office Depot and OfficeMax page, tap through to officedepot.com and check out in the same session. ShopBack lowers the effective price of online orders after you pay.

Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles. That is different from Office Depot Rewards, which come back as certificates to spend at Office Depot.

The habit is the same across the big shopping and travel sites. For merchants like Booking.com, Trip.com, Agoda and Expedia, going through ShopBack is an essential step before you book or check out, so you pay less on the same booking or order. Office Depot and OfficeMax work the same way.

A worked example, with an illustrative rate only: on a $120 order of supplies at an illustrative 2%, $2.40 comes back, so the effective price is $117.60. Check the live rate on the ShopBack Office Depot and OfficeMax page, because rates and terms change and can differ by category.

A few things keep tracking on track:

• Start from the store's ShopBack page each time, and pay in the same session.
• Use only codes listed on the store's ShopBack page, or no code at all.
• Shop online. The Terms on the ShopBack page list in-store purchases among the exclusions, along with some brands and products, so read them before you pay.
• Taxes, service charges, shipping and delivery do not count towards the amount that earns Cashback.

Office Depot and OfficeMax Cashback, credit card and rewards offers in 2026

Several programs can apply to one Office Depot order, but each has its own rules, so treat combining them as possible rather than guaranteed.

• Office Depot Rewards and ShopBack. Rewards are earned by Office Depot on the price you pay, and ShopBack pays Cashback on eligible online orders you start from its page. They come from different programs; check the Terms on the ShopBack page for anything that is excluded.
• Coupons and ShopBack. Only codes featured on ShopBack keep the order eligible, according to the ShopBack page. If a code is not listed there, compare the code's saving with what ShopBack would return, and pick the bigger one.
• Credit cards. Office Depot offers its own store credit cards, and some bank cards run card-linked merchant offers that change often. Whether a card offer applies alongside a coupon, Rewards and ShopBack depends on each program's terms, so read them before you pay.
• Price match. Office Depot says its own price is the final price after discounts and coupons, so a price match and a coupon are not simply added together.

Before you pay at Office Depot: a five-step check

1. Find the official offer. Start from Office Depot's Deals, Free Gifts with Purchase or Rewards pages, not a coupon site.
2. Read the exclusions. Check minimum spend, excluded brands and categories, the one-per-customer limit and the expiry date.
3. Join Rewards if you have not. It is free and earns rewards on almost every item, according to Office Depot.
4. Hit the free delivery line or choose pickup. Delivery fees can cancel out a small coupon.
5. Open ShopBack, tap Office Depot and OfficeMax, then check out in the same session.

Where do I find official Office Depot coupons?

How do I use an Office Depot coupon code online?

Open the coupon on officedepot.com and follow its steps. Minimum purchase amounts on those offers are worked out before tax and delivery fees, and some are limited to one per household or business.

Do Office Depot coupons work on ink and toner?

Not always. Some Office Depot coupon offers exclude ink and toner, gift cards and certain brands, so check the exclusions on each coupon before you build your cart. Ink and toner savings often come through Rewards instead, such as Bonus Rewards weeks and 5% back for VIP Rewards members on ink and toner, according to Office Depot.

Is Office Depot Rewards free, and what do members get?

Yes. Office Depot OfficeMax Rewards is free to join. Office Depot says members earn 2% back in rewards on almost every item in store and online, get weekly Bonus Rewards offers, and earn recycling and review rewards. Does Office Depot price match?

Yes. Office Depot says it will match a lower price on a new, identical, in stock item from a qualifying competitor at the time of purchase or within 14 days after. For online orders you call Customer Care or start a chat. It does not match holiday sale offers including Black Friday and Cyber Monday, marketplace items, clearance or Office Depot online-only specials.

Can I use an Office Depot coupon with ShopBack?

Only some coupons. The ShopBack Office Depot and OfficeMax page says purchases made with vouchers or promo codes not featured on ShopBack are not eligible. If you want your order to count, use only codes listed on that page, or skip the code when going through ShopBack is worth more. Read the Terms on the page for other exclusions.

Do teachers or military get Office Depot discounts?

Office Depot runs verified teacher and military offers. At the time of writing, its Rewards page listed 25% back in Bonus Rewards on qualifying online purchases for verified teacher and military members who log in to their verified account, limited to $100 back in rewards per member per week. Check the Rewards page for the current terms.

Can I use a credit card offer at Office Depot as well?

Possibly. Office Depot offers its own store credit cards, and some bank cards run card-linked merchant offers that change often. Whether a card offer applies alongside a coupon, Rewards and ShopBack depends on each program's terms, so read the card offer and the ShopBack Terms before you pay.

How does ShopBack lower the price at Office Depot?

Going through ShopBack gets you a cash rebate on the same order, at the same store. Open the ShopBack Office Depot and OfficeMax page, tap through to officedepot.com and check out in the same session.
