Chase Sapphire Preferred cardholders approved on or after June 15, 2026 now transfer Ultimate Rewards to World of Hyatt at 4:3 instead of 1:1, a roughly 25% haircut on the highest-value UR transfer partner. Existing Sapphire Preferred cardholders keep 1:1 until October 1, 2026, then also drop to 4:3. Ink Business Preferred is also affected: existing cardholders keep 1:1 until October 1, 2026, then drop to 4:3; new applicants from October 1, 2026 receive 4:3 immediately. Chase Sapphire Reserve ($795 annual fee) and Sapphire Reserve for Business retain 1:1 to Hyatt. Ink Business Cash and Ink Business Unlimited do not transfer to Hyatt directly and require pooling into a card with transfer capability. Best defenses: transfer commitment balances before October 1, upgrade CSP to CSR, or use Bilt Rewards for Hyatt transfers (still 1:1).
