Costco delivery: every way to get a Costco order to your door

Costco delivery comes in two forms: same-day delivery through a partner app, where a shopper picks your order at a local warehouse, and 2-Day Delivery from costco.com.

• Costco Same-Day, powered by Instacart. Costco's own same-day site runs on Instacart. Costco says it delivers in as fast as 1 hour, subject to availability, and that Same-Day requires a Costco membership. By using the site you agree to Instacart's Terms of Service.
• Instacart app. You can also shop Costco straight from the Instacart app. Instacart says you can schedule delivery in as fast as an hour or pick a later window, with delivery windows from as early as 9am to as late as midnight, subject to store hours.
• DoorDash and Uber Eats. Both now list Costco for same-day and scheduled delivery in most of the US (see the 2026 section below).
• Costco 2-Day Delivery. Ordered on costco.com and shipped to you. According to Costco, the $75 minimum applies to 2-Day Delivery items only, not your whole order total, and orders to Alaska can carry added fees.
• Curbside pickup through Instacart. If a short drive is fine, Instacart says non-members typically pay a flat $1.99 pickup fee and Instacart+ members pay no pickup fee, with no tip required.

According to Instacart, you can add your Costco membership card to your Instacart account, but Instacart does not accept Costco gift cards as payment.

Costco delivery in 2026: what changed

The big change in 2026 is choice: Costco is no longer an Instacart-only delivery story in most of the US. Grocery Dive reported in September 2026 that:

• Costco was adding its US store fleet to DoorDash, nearly 630 locations across 47 states and Washington, D.C., with same-day and scheduled delivery, according to a DoorDash spokesperson.
• Nearly all Costco US stores were available on Uber Eats for on-demand and scheduled delivery. Uber's partnership with Costco began in 2021 with a pilot at 25 Texas locations.
• As part of the expansion, Uber offered Uber One savings, discounted Uber gift cards and a limited-time chance to buy a Costco membership through Uber Eats.
• Instacart has partnered with Costco on US delivery since 2017.

Costco's CEO Ron Vachris told investors in May 2026 that Costco's US same-day delivery business is "growing at an even faster rate than our digital business overall", according to the same report.
