Women's shoes online: what each store does best

For women's shoes online, price per pair is only part of the cost: shipping, how easy a return is and whether a pair fits all change what you really pay. Shoes often need a second try at the right size, so the return terms matter more here than for a t-shirt.

• SHEIN is usually the lowest price per pair. It sells mostly its own products, plus Marketplace sellers, and covers sandals, sneakers, boots, heels and flats. SHEIN says most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, and the first return from an order is free.
• Target makes trying and returning simple. According to Target, Target brand items can be returned within 365 days with a receipt, and most other items sold by Target within 90 days. Drive Up and Order Pickup are free, so you can skip shipping entirely.
• Nike is the value pick for sneakers you will wear hard. Nike gives members 60 days to try a purchase, and returns are free for Nike Members, according to Nike. Nike's Help Center also lists discount programs for students, military, teachers, first responders and medical professionals, plus a birthday offer for members.

If you are not sure of your size, the cheapest pair is the one you only buy once. A store with free returns and a long window can cost less in the end than a lower sticker price with a paid return.

Women's shoes 2026: what to check before you buy

In 2026, the checks that save the most money on women's shoes are the same at every store: size, return terms and where the pair ships from.

1. Measure your foot and use the store's own size chart. Brands size differently. Compare your measurement with the chart on the product page rather than your usual size.
2. Read the return rules for shoes specifically. SHEIN says shoes must be returned new, unworn and undamaged in the original branded box with all accessories, and tried on only on a soft, clean surface. Try new shoes on carpet first.
3. Check where the pair ships from. According to SHEIN, items marked Local ship from a US warehouse; items without that label may ship from an international warehouse and take longer.
4. Look at the return window, not just the price. Nike gives 60 days, Target gives 90 days on most items and 365 days on Target brand items with a receipt, and SHEIN gives 30 days on most items, according to each store.
5. Avoid final-sale traps. SHEIN lists clearance items and other final sale items as non-returnable, and Nike says items bought at Nike Clearance stores cannot be returned or exchanged.

Women's shoes best deals in the US for 2026

The best deals on women's shoes in the US come from four steps in a set order: compare prices, look for a safe code, go through ShopBack, then pay. Before you pay for an online order, go through ShopBack first.

• Build one order to clear free shipping. SHEIN's free shipping starts at $15 on Sundays and Thursdays and $29 on other days. Target's 2-day shipping is free from $35. Nike's standard shipping is free from $50 for members and from $75 for guests, according to each store.
• Join the free memberships. Nike says its membership is free and includes free shipping on $50 orders and free returns. Target Circle is Target's free loyalty program with member deals.
• Use Target pickup. Target says Drive Up and Order Pickup are free and usually ready within a couple of hours, so a single pair of flats costs no shipping at all.
• Use safe code sources. Codes from the store's own emails or from the store's page on ShopBack are the safest. Our guide to finding promo codes that work explains why codes from random coupon sites can stop an order from tracking.
• Time big buys around sale events. Our US fashion savings guide covers which times of year bring the deepest markdowns on shoes.

Prices on shoes change daily, so check the live deals and codes on the SHEIN, Nike and Target pages on ShopBack US before you buy.

How to compare one pair fairly: take the shoe price, add shipping for your whole cart, think about whether you are likely to return it, then subtract what comes back through ShopBack. For a pair you will run in, Nike's 60-day window and free member returns protect you if the fit is wrong. For a pair of party heels you will wear twice, SHEIN's low price per pair often wins. SHEIN, Nike and Target: women's shoes in the US by store

SHEIN is the pick for the most styles at low prices, Nike for sneakers with member perks, and Target for everyday pairs you can pick up and return easily.

SHEIN

SHEIN sells women's shoes across sandals, sneakers, boots, heels and flats, and lets you filter by size. Its free shipping thresholds change by day of the week, so ordering on a Sunday or Thursday helps a small shoe order ship free. SHEIN says the first return from an order is free, so try new pairs on a soft surface and keep the box until you are sure. Our SHEIN savings guide covers the store in more depth.

Nike

Nike's own site and app carry the full women's range, from running to lifestyle sneakers, plus a Sale section. Join Nike Membership before your first order: Nike says it is free, and members get free standard shipping from $50, faster shipping at $15 instead of the $20 guest price, free returns and 60 days to try a pair. Free store pickup is available for members and guests, according to Nike.

Target

Target suits shoppers who want a pair this week or want to try on in store. According to Target, 2-day shipping is free on $35 orders, Drive Up and Order Pickup are free, and Same Day Delivery costs $9.99 per delivery or comes with a Target Circle 360 subscription. Target brand items have a 365-day return window with a receipt.

How ShopBack US lowers what you pay for women's shoes

ShopBack is a post-purchase discount: go through it before you pay and the effective price drops. You still buy from SHEIN, Nike or Target at their price, with their shipping and returns; ShopBack US sends part of what you spent back to you as cash.

Cashback lowers what you actually pay for an order. It comes back as cash, so it works like a discount on the price, not like points or miles.

Here is a worked example with an illustrative rate only: on a $60 pair of sneakers at an illustrative 5%, $3 comes back, so the effective price is $57. Rates differ by store and change often, so check the live rate on the SHEIN, Nike or Target page on ShopBack US before you buy. Some items or Marketplace listings may not qualify, and those terms are shown on each store's page.

How to do it:

1. Open the store's page on ShopBack US in the app or on the website.
2. Tap through to SHEIN, Nike or Target and shop as normal.
3. Use a code from the store's own emails or from its ShopBack page, if you have one.
4. Pay in the same session. Our guide on activating before you buy walks through the steps.
