Lalal.ai

Lalal.ai is a Ukrainian-founded AI audio stem-separation service that splits mixed audio into vocals, drums, bass, piano, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and synthesizer stems using its Phoenix machine-learning model, so pick your pack or plan, then sign up through ShopBack before you pay, where ShopBack Cashback works like a discount, only easier than a promo code. Positioning is high-quality vocal and instrument separation for musicians, remixers, podcasters, karaoke creators, and audio engineers. Product runs entirely in-browser or via desktop and mobile app. Competes with Moises.ai and open-source Ultimate Vocal Remover.

Lalal.ai offers one-time per-minute packs (Lite, Plus, Pro, Master, tiered by minutes and file-size cap) plus monthly and annual subscriptions on Pro tier for unlimited-minute processing within the subscription window. Higher tiers include larger file-size uploads, batch processing, and API access. Verify current pack and subscription pricing on lalal.ai/pricing/ before checkout as tiers are updated periodically.

The current Phoenix model produces clean vocal isolation and instrument stems on most modern productions. Older recordings, heavy reverb, or extreme audio compression can degrade separation quality on some passes. For critical work, preview a short 30-second segment before committing a long session. Output formats include MP3, WAV, FLAC, and OGG at various bit depths.

Both are leading AI stem-separation services. Lalal.ai's Phoenix model produces particularly clean vocal isolation on modern productions and offers per-minute pack pricing that suits occasional users. Moises.ai bundles practice tools (tempo change, pitch shift, chord detection) alongside separation, sitting closer to a musician's practice suite. For pure separation quality on remix projects, Lalal.ai is competitive. For a practice workflow with jam-along tools, Moises.ai is broader.

Lalal.ai's refund policy is set on its site and typically covers unused pack minutes within a limited window after purchase. Once minutes are used for processing, refunds are typically not available. Contact support with the order confirmation for a case-by-case review.

Batch processing is available on higher-tier packs and subscription plans, allowing multiple files to be queued at once. File-size caps and format restrictions apply per plan tier; verify on lalal.ai/pricing/ before uploading a long batch. API access is available for developer integrations.
